FSBO Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Ministry of Energy of Russia is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation

At the time when the customer contacted us, the software platform of the official REA website was outdated, which created difficulties in developing the site, ensuring its information security and keeping the site information up to date.

Goals

Corporate website

The key part of the development is the Agency's website, which provides full information about the organization's activities

We have developed additional design layouts of pages based on the corporate identity of the Customer. Implemented a number of new functionality on the site, carried out the transfer of information from the current site and integration with external services. Suggestions and recommendations on the site structure and content optimization were given, as well as the features of managing the site structure through CMS were thought out.

Realised a version for visually impaired users

The version for visually impaired users has advanced customization options and makes the site accessible to people with special needs.

Multilingual support

During the development of the site, the possibility of switching to the Russian and English versions of the site was implemented, and the possibility of adding other languages through the Bitrix administrative panel was implemented too.

Project acceptance

On our side, a complete set of documents was developed in accordance with GOST, as well as a full cycle of project delivery tests was completed, including security checks and training of REA employees.
The test cycle included preliminary tests, trial operation and acceptance tests of the system.
Each stage included a demonstration of the results of work according to the test program.
We also conducted offline training of the personnel of the REA on working with CMS in terms of managing the structure and content of the site.

Documentation

The set of project documents contained general documentation, as well as documents developed in accordance with each stage of testing (test program, test report, act and protocol).
A set of working and operational documentation was compiled: "Administrator's Manual", "User's Manual", "Software Description", "Methodology of information placement and management", "Structure and content of the public part of the site", "Requirements for the stand and information protection", "Regulations for the provision of technical support for the software platform".
