Prostokvashino website

Prostokvashino is one of the most famous brands of dairy products in Russia, owned by Danone

Colleagues turned to us for help in developing a new website for the beloved “cartoon” milk. At the time of the beginning of our cooperation, the brand already had a functioning website, but it was hopelessly outdated and did not meet modern web development standards and brand goals.

Goals

1
Create a new modern image design for the site
2
Keep some of the old content and rethink the approach to its submission
3
Develop a website that meets modern standards on a convenient CMS
4
Consider SEO Requirements

Solution

When developing the site, pre-project analytics data, the wishes of the brand team and the requirements of SEO specialists were used

The design solution for the site is built on a clean, modern visual language with large typography in the headings and, of course, the use of illustrations. Matroskin, Sharik, Galchonok and Uncle Fyodor are the key characters of the brand, and the blue stripes are an integral part of the brand identity.

What we have done

Pre-project analytics
We analyzed the indicatiors of the old website, made the conclusions about user experience and prepared the recommendations for the new website
Design
New website design for 3 resolutions (desktop, tablet, smartphone) has been prepared. Sets of unique icons for pages, as well as sets of backgrounds and banners, have been developed.
Development
We made adaptive layout and convenient admin panel, which allows to make content management flexible.
Technical support
After a successful release, we continued to provide technical support for the new site and develop its new functionality.
The technical part of SEO
While developing the website, we took into account all the requirements of the SEO team. Both the design and the software part of the website were developed considering the requirements of search engine optimization.
Migration of the old database
A huge database of recipes from the old site was successfully transferred to the new site.
